We attend conferences for many reasons and recommend you do the same. Conferences are all about being part of the conversation and that means participating by speaking but also by listening to those in attendance. There’s always something to be gained by attending a conference you’re interested in and which promises to help sharpen your craft.
Why We Attend Conferences
We value the opportunity to hear our fellow professionals share their insights on the current state of the industry and its forward progress. There is always opportunity for growth and development and what better way to do that then at a conference of a couple thousand like-minded individuals? Conferences are a time to meet writers, authors, and publishers who make up the creative force that is the publishing industry. It’s a time to connect with other members of the publishing community and build relationships. We go for all of these things but also to simply help self-publishers publish better.
Here are a few hot author events this summer for you to converse one-on-one with IngramSpark and with a wealth of other publishing professionals.
