iCurate® Complimentary Spotlight: iCurate Coming Soon Now Free for Libraries

At Ingram Library Services, we understand the importance of having quality Collection Development resources to support the work libraries do, so we have decided to make our premium iCurate® Coming Soon service complimentary for our library customers. The annual list subscription is a $2,100 value, and it’s now available to Ingram Library Services customers at no cost!

What is Coming Soon

iCurate Coming Soon provides monthly librarian-curated lists of new and forthcoming titles for your collection. These balanced lists are broken into age and collection to match most libraries’ collection needs, and the selection lists are a convenient way for libraries to identify and order new titles for their collections from the hot bestsellers to the harder-to-find subjects that all libraries will need to carry in their collections. iCurate Coming Soon lists save your staff time because you don’t have to search review journals, blogs, and publisher catalogs to find new titles. The lists are delivered to your ipage account to make selection easier because we know that your library staff’s time is a finite resource.

iCurate Coming Soon lists are powered by librarians. They aren’t based on an algorithm or pre-set query. Our team of experienced, MLS-degreed Collection Development librarians create the lists utilizing their expertise, along with Ingram sales data, publisher buzz, and reviews (when available). Those data sources help us find new titles that are of interest to libraries and not limited to what may have circulated in your collection previously. It’s the equivalent of having seven experienced collection development librarians working for your library one day each month at no cost to you.

iCurate Coming Soon lists come in three sizes to allow you to mix and match list sizes to find the right list sizes for your library’s unique needs. You can choose your list sizes based on circulation statistics, budgets, or selector preference.

Because iCurate Coming Soon will no longer be fee-based, we will be discontinuing three of our librarian-curated standing order programs that duplicate iCurate Coming Soon lists. April 2024 was our final month to run Forthcoming Popular Nonfiction (Adult), Popular Nonfiction (Youth), and Picture and Board Books standing order programs. We will be happy to work with customers who used those programs to create iCurate Coming Soon enrollments that provide comparable lists. For assistance creating your iCurate Coming Soon enrollments, contact us at fiction.standingorders@ingramcontent.com or nonfiction.standingorders@ingramcontent.com.

To sign up for iCurate Coming Soon, visit our Curated Lists landing page and click on iCurate Coming Soon. Once you click through the subscription page, you will need to create your enrollments, and then, you will be on your way. Your first set of lists will be delivered on the first day of the next month.
