Fodor’s Travel to be distributed by Ingram Publisher Services27-Apr-2017
"We're pleased to welcome Fodor's Travel to Ingram's distribution network," said Mark Ouimet, vice president and general manager, Ingram Publisher Services. "Fodor’s is a premier travel publishing brand. We are happy to have the opportunity to expand the footprint of their iconic guides.”
Fodor's Travel is a trusted leader in travel recommendations and has a long history of providing wanderlust individuals with the best destination information and advice. Fodor’s is a subsidiary of Internet Brands, which acquired the travel publisher in 2016.
Ingram Publisher Services will work with Fodor's to continue to deliver exceptional content to readers across the globe. Ingram's flexible model will help drive the unique marketing, sales and distribution of Fodor's print guidebooks.
In 2010, Internet Brands' Nolo Press, an industry-leading publisher of legal guidebooks, signed with Ingram Publisher Services for full-service sales and distribution. Now, Fodor's has also signed on to use Ingram's innovative technology and network to distribute their travel titles.
“Since Fodor’s Travel joined Internet Brands last year, we’ve been increasing the investment in content and the number of titles produced each year. Thus our goal in choosing a distributor was to find a partner who could scale Fodor’s sales while maintaining the brand’s reputation for quality,” said Joe Ewaskiw, communications director at Internet Brands. “After much consideration, we determined Ingram was an ideal fit -- especially after seeing the positive experience with Ingram that Nolo Press has enjoyed over the past seven years.”
Fodor's will be available through Ingram Publisher Services beginning July 1, 2017.
