Ingram Publisher Services UK Announces Exclusive Partnership with De Gruyter Brill’s Arts and Architecture Lists

June 25, 2025

LONDON (June 25, 2025) – Ingram Publisher Services® UK (“IPS UK”), an Ingram Content Group UK Ltd. brand, is pleased to announce an exclusive partnership with De Gruyter Brill to provide distribution, sales, and marketing representation for the print titles in their prestigious Birkhäuser, JOVIS, and Deutscher Kunstverlag lists in the UK.

Celebrated for its exceptional quality and breadth, the century-old Deutscher Kunstverlag list is a leader in early modern art history, provenance research, the history of art history, and visual culture. Its offerings continue to expand into transcultural studies, object studies, and gender studies. Meanwhile, the Birkhäuser and JOVIS architecture lists feature highly respected titles covering architectural education, architectural history, landscape design, and urban development.

“We’ve long admired De Gruyter Brill’s publishing, particularly their arts and architecture titles,” said Matthew Dickie-Cross, Senior Manager, IPS UK. “These expertly curated lists represent the highest quality, aligning perfectly with the influential publishers we work with. Birkhäuser, JOVIS, and Deutscher Kunstverlag’s titles will complement our thriving portfolio of arts publishers.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with IPS UK for both distribution and sales and marketing services for these particular publishers,” said Daniel Engels, Vice President, Arts & Architecture, De Gruyter Brill. “As a publisher we have an excellent longstanding relationship with Ingram in the US, and we look forward to cementing that collaboration even further with the experienced IPS UK team.”

Ingram Publisher Services UK’s dedicated London-based sales and marketing team will represent De Gruyter Brill’s arts and architecture titles across the UK.

“We’ve seen significant sales growth this year for publishers leveraging our sales and marketing services,” said Bunmi Western, Director IPS UK. “Supporting the expansion and visibility of such a well-regarded publisher is a privilege, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

IPS UK will begin distributing on behalf of Birkhäuser, JOVIS and Deutscher Kunstverlag on July 1, 2025. All orders and customer enquiries should be made directly to IPSUK.CustomerCare@ingramcontent.com.
